From the Album "Once and Future Kingdom - An Epic Tribute to Kamelot" (2024- Epic Spirit/AUSR)

EPIKA (The Epicenter of the Universe) ( A Story of Antonio Giorgio inspired by the concept of the albums “Epica” & ”The Black Halo”) Act I:Between Heaven & Hell 1-Center of the Universe We are in 1998 in London and Michael Spirit, a young writer of great ambitions and of Italian origins, was overwhelmed by the final loss of his beloved Crystabel Soul who left him to marry a Movie Star, the actor Ryan Ghost, also because from the latter she became pregnant unexpectedly. Michael reflects on his past life, his mistakes with Crystabel and his many ways to recover their long and troubled relationship and feels so alone in the center of his inner universe where we are all alone. 2-The Edge of Paradise In another time in 1844 the Irish alchemist/scientist Ariel Gold, interested in the Great Mysteries of Existence, falls into depression due to his distance from Helena Silver who is London, indulges in opium and has Visions and Hallucinations of a Fallen Angel which he takes the appearance of a beautiful woman who promises him unspeakable pleasures and success with a future blood contract that will be proposed to him by a certain Mark Mephisto, Alchemist and Sorcerer who seems to be eternally young and immortal. 3-A Feast for the Vain The action moves to a few years later in 2000 when Michael is invited to an ancient Castle by his new publisher of german origin Johannes Faust who manages Archangel Books, this is because Michael's latest book, “EPICA”, had the interest of a famous director, Martin Francis Scott, to make a film that will be a true blockbuster. In this Castle there is a grand masquerade ball where many Stars and VIPs of Cinema, but also of Music and the corrupt world of Entertainment are present. Here Michael signs the millionaire contract for the making of the film and the transfer of the rights to his book, despite being fundamentally annoyed by it. Ariel in 1844 does the same in another masquerade ball with Mark Mephisto, grand Master of Ceremonies of the evening who invites him to the Castle and who resembles Johannes Faust quite a bit and who will offer him a diabolical deal signed with his Blood which will give him success and glory in exchange for his Soul and his Art. 4-On the Coldest Winter Night In 1844 Ariel receives an unexpected visit in his new Castle built with the success in the scientific field promised by Mephisto and in the midst of Helena's intoxication and love breaks out again between the two and they conceive a child that same night in the Castle, but Ariel doesn't know it and the next morning she tells Helena to go away and not show up again because she has other things in mind for her future and her goals. Meanwhile in 2003, five years after the night in the Castle and in his new penthouse in New York, Michael receives a visit from Crystabel who reveals to him that she was left by Robert for another woman and fell into disgrace and poverty with a little girl of 5 years old, Anne, to support: he welcomes her with open arms, promising that he will take care of her and her little girl, but senses a dark omen about their fate with some rather disturbing premonitory dreams. 5-The Mourning After (Carry on) In 1845, eight months after the night at the Castle, Ariel receives the news that Helena committed suicide by throwing herself into a river due to her abandonment and with her also killed the child she was carrying, committing a double murder. Ariel, consumed by remorse, wanders distraughtly around the world, calling for forgiveness and even abandoning alchemical and scientific studies and seeking new answers in Mysticism and Religion without finding any. For Michael in 2007, despite the good success of the film and book "EPICA", things are no better on a personal and sentimental level: Crystabel meets a very successful young building contractor who guarantees her greater security for the future and who becomes her new lover , Chriss Wood: he finds out and she kills herself with guilt by jumping from the top floor of her lover's penthouse. Little Anne is entrusted to her husband Robert Grave and Michael is left alone having a total depressive crisis close to exhaustion, even thinking about suicide, but Crystabel appears to him in the form of Angel in a dream and invites him not to give up. Act II:The Quest for Epika (Beyond the Edge of the Universe) 6-March of Mephisto We arrive at 2018 and Michael writes the sequel to "EPICA" called "MYSTICA" which reflects his tragic personal events and knowing many adventurous women from the entertainment world he indulges in unbridled sex even with multiple partners and in particular develops a relationship with the dancer /mediterranean actress of Italian origin called Greta who reminds her of Crystabel in a more sensual version, but she is unable to forget her love and continues to feel ill and success does not satisfy him and she is increasingly interested in mystical and even esoteric topics and philosophical by doing in-depth research and in particular for Spiritism (as his surname suggests to him), also participating in séances evoking the Spirit of Crystabel who appears to him but without speaking to him and is heartbroken for him. In 1848 Ariel, trying to forget Helena, throws herself back into alchemical and esoteric studies thanks to the assistance of her Master Mark Mephisto and manages to find the Elixir of Eternal Life and the Philosopher's Stone which transforms Base Metals into Noble ones until reaching Gold : he drinks the Elixir and becomes Immortal also meeting the famous Count of Saint-Germain, Immortal like him and part of the mysterious and secret congregation of Magicians, Alchemists and Occultists called "Silver Star", founded by Mephisto. 7-Soul Society Now we are in 2019 and "MYSTICA" does not sell as much as "EPICA" considered too spiritual, personal and dark by critics and fans and Michael, severing the contract with Johannes Faust and squandering all his earnings on charity work, falls into disgrace and having become poor, he returns to London and finds himself wandering like a homeless person and decides to become a street artist, living day by day, returning to his old love for Music and Poetry: he plays the guitar, sings and asks passers-by for alms by reciting verses by Dante and William Blake. He has renounced every ephemeral success and every lust and vanity and has found his inner Jesus Christ and in Westminster Abbey, on a night of pouring rain between thunder and lightning, Ariel appears to him who, as an Immortal, has crossed the centuries and lives like a Vampire hidden from society and in the shadow always under the protective wing of the Silver Star and Mephisto who also has his Soul locked in an alchemical alembic, but confesses to him that he is tired of living and only wants to die and see Helena again in the afterlife if this exists. Ariel confesses to him that she has been looking for him for centuries driven by a mysterious and strange call towards a Consecrated and Sacred Land for other Immortals like him and which is precisely London. 8- Memento Mori (Ti Attendero’) The two go to visit the Highgate Cemetery where both Crystabel and Helena are buried: Ariel in front of his beloved's tomb has a Vision of her who appears to him as an Angel which makes him concentrate with his Third Eye which allows him to explode the still that preserves the Essence of his Soul in Mephisto's laboratory and thus frees him from Evil and from the contract with Mephisto: he ages instantly and dies, putrefying instantly before the astonished eyes of Michael, but the Elixir of long life discovered by Ariel who has purely etheric and spiritual matter and lived in his Spirit as a life-giving substance enters as a vital breath and as a virus in Michael who becomes Immortal keeping the memories and a portion of soul of Ariel in his Spirit and Memory. He ages instantly and dies, rotting instantly before the astonished eyes of Michael, but the Elixir of Eternal Life discovered by Ariel, which has purely ethereal and spiritual matter and lives in his Spirit as a life-giving substance, enters like a breath vital and like a virus in Michael who becomes immortal maintaining the memories and a part of Ariel's soul in his Spirit and in his Memory. 9-Nulla Muore Mai (Nothing Ever Dies) Michael also has a Vision with his awakened Third Eye of Ariel who has reunited with Helena on the other side with their Spirits Redeemed by their Eternal Love and knows that one day it will happen to him too with Crystabel, but in the meantime he will have to live forever for a long time looking for the truth about why he has now become Immortal and what Mission he deserves while also facing Ariel's nemesis, namely Mark Mephisto to avenge Ariel and break his new Curse. He hears their laughter somewhere like an infernal echo. 10-Epicentro dell’Universo We are now in 2124 and Michael has crossed the centuries and eras as an Immortal and has known all the conquests and falls from grace of Humanity between new Atomic and Bacteriological Wars, Pandemics, New Regimes and Environmental Catastrophes. He met Mark Mephisto fleetingly in various Nations and under other names and guises and he always eluded him. The world in which he lives is post-apocalyptic and there is a coming Middle-Ages where a lot of technology has disappeared and he has found his Crystabel reincarnated specifically for him in another french woman, Isabel, even if he will have to look for her because she is appeared only in a dream and lives in a village called Kamelot where she is the Princess who has been prophesied, the Hope of a New Era of Peace when she will find her Future King. In searching for her he is also looking for a new Holy Grail which seems to transform everything into Spiritual Gold and which he can stop according to what some initiates belonging to the New Order of St. George have told him which has been fighting for centuries against the Silver Star moved more by Black Magic and of which the Count of Saint-Germain is no longer a member, having repudiated it together with other Dissidents who were also persecuted by it and who joined this New Order moved by healthier principles. This Grail, according to the Legend narrated by the new populations, is found in a legendary place called EPIKA (like Michael's old novel and for this reason it was indicated as the predestined) located on the border of the habitable world called the Epicenter of the Universe. She manages to reach him after many adventures and vicissitudes and together with him, Mephisto's instigators called the Men in Black also secretly reach her, who are then joined by the Sorcerer himself: it is governed by Ancient Guardians (also Custodians of the Ancient Technological Discoveries of Humanity and of its Millennia of Knowledge) who had prophesied its coming and by renouncing its Immortality finds the Holy Grail kept within it, a mysterious Sphere with magical powers (it reflects the dreams, fears and desires of every Man) of alien origins also guarded by the Guardians, but once he has become mortal again he is attacked by Mephisto and his henchmen who try to kill him, but the Sphere protects him and imprisons the latter in a Cage of Crystal that rises from the local glaciers and so Michael also avenges Ariel's death and breaks the Curse returning a simple mortal man. He takes the Sphere to Kamelot where he meets Isabel who unconsciously recognizes him, feeling that she has always loved him and for centuries: they get married and he becomes ruler of this small county with her when her father dies. Michael is happy above all to have returned to mortal life and to have found the Spirit of Crystabel in Isabel and together they will bring a New Golden Age of Peace, Wisdom and Prosperity to the World. Act I:Between Heaven & Hell 1-Center of the Universe La storia ha inizio nel 2023 con un ragazzo o ragazza senza nome e senza provenienza geografica ben precisa (che potete essere anche voi in questo momento preciso in cui ascoltate il brano o anche ascoltando “EPICA”, l’album dei Kamelot “Epica”) che usando l’Immaginazione fa rivivere la storia faustiana di Ariel a cui si aggiungerà dal secondo brano anche quella di Michael Spirit, nuovo personaggio creato da me per quest’album. Il Centro (o meglio Epicentro) dell’Universo è ovunque voi siate e dove il vostro Spirito stesso regna e può sentire in sé ogni Emozione e Visione che la Mente e il Cuore Umano possono provare. Come diceva la band in quel 2003, lontano ma allo stesso tempo vicino e sempre presente da qualche parte nel Cosmo secondo la teoria dell’Eternalismo/Universo-Blocco: benvenuti nell’Epicentro dell’Universo, benvenuti in EpiKa!! 2-Edge of Paradise Siamo nel 1998 a Londra e Michael Spirit, un giovane scrittore di grandi ambizioni e di origini italiane, è stato travolto dalla perdita della sua amata Crystabel Soul che lo ha lasciato per sposarsi con un Divo del Cinema, l’attore Ryan Ghost, anche perché da quest’ultimo è rimasta inaspettatamente incinta. In un altro tempo nel 1844 l’alchimista/scienziato irlandese Ariel Gold interessato ai Grandi Misteri dell’Esistenza, cade in depressione per la lontananza da Helena Silver che è londinese, si abbandona all’oppio e ha Visioni e Allucinazioni di un Angelo Caduto che assume le sembianze di una bellissima donna che gli promette piaceri indicibili e successo con un futuro contratto di sangue che gli sarà proposto da un certo Mark Mephisto, Alchimista e Stregone che pare essere eternamente giovane e immortale. 3-A Feast for the Vain L’azione si sposta a qualche anno più tardi nel 2000 quando Michael viene invitato in un grande e antico Castello dal suo nuovo editore di origine tedesca Johannes Faust che gestisce la Archangel Books, questo perché l’ultimo libro di Michael, “EPICA”, ha avuto l’interessamento di un famoso regista, Martin Francis Scott, per trarne un film che sarà un vero kolossal. In questo Castello vi è un gran ballo in maschera dove sono presenti molte Stars e Vip del Cinema, ma anche della Musica e del mondo corrotto dello Spettacolo. Qui Michael firma il contratto milionario per la realizzazione del film e la cessione dei diritti del suo libro, pur essendo in fondo contrariato alla cosa. Ariel nel 1844 fa lo stesso in un altro ballo in maschera con Mark Mephisto gran cerimoniere della serata che lo invita al Castello e che assomiglia non poco a Johannes Faust e che gli offrirà un Patto Diabolico firmato con il suo Sangue che gli darà successo e gloria in cambio della sua Anima e della sua Arte. 4-On the Coldest Winter Night Nel 1844 Ariel riceve la visita inaspettata nel suo nuovo Castello costruito con il successo nel campo scientifico promesso da Mephisto e nel pieno dell’ebbrezza di Helena e tra i due scoppia di nuovo l’amore e concepiscono la notte stessa nel Castello un bambino, ma Ariel non lo sa e il mattino dopo dice ad Helena di andar via e non farsi più vedere perché ha altro in mente per il suo futuro e per i suoi obiettivi. Nel frattempo nel 2003, cinque anni dopo la notte nel Castello e nel suo nuovo attico a New York, Michael riceve la visita di Crystabel che gli rivela di essere stata lasciata da Robert per un’altra donna e caduta in disgrazia e povertà con una bimba di 5 anni, Anne, da mantenere: lui la accoglie a braccia aperte promettendo che si prenderà cura di lei e della sua bambina, ma avverte un oscuro presagio sul loro destino a causa di alcuni inquietanti sogni premonitori. 5-The Mourning After (Carry on) Nel 1845, otto mesi dopo la notte al Castello, Ariel riceve la notizia che Helena si è suicidata gettandosi in un fiume a causa del suo abbandono e con se ha ucciso anche il bambino che portava commettendo un doppio omicidio e roso dal rimorso il nostro vaga affranto per il mondo invocando perdono e abbandonando anche gli studi alchemici e scientifici e cercando nuove risposte nel Misticismo e nella Religione pur senza trovarne. A Michael nel 2007 nonostante il buon successo del film e del libro “EPICA”, non va meglio sul piano personale e sentimentale: Crystabel conosce un giovane impresario edile di grande successo che le garantisce maggiore sicurezza per il futuro e che diventa il suo nuovo amante, Chriss Wood: lui lo scopre e lei rosa dal senso di colpa si uccide buttandosi dall’ultimo piano dell’attico dell’amante. La piccola Anne viene riaffidata al marito di lei Robert Grave e Michael rimane solo avendo una crisi totale depressiva vicina all’esaurimento, pensando anche al suicidio, ma Crystabel gli appare sotto forma di Angelo in sogno e lo invita a non arrendersi. Act II:The Quest for Epika (Beyond the Edge of the Universe) 6-March of Mephisto Arriviamo al 2018 e Michael scrive il seguito di “EPICA” chiamato “MYSTICA” che rispecchia le sue tragiche vicende personali e conoscendo molte donne avvenenti del mondo dello spettacolo si abbandona al sesso sfrenato anche con più partners e in particolare sviluppa una realzione con la ballerina/attrice mediterranea di origine italiana chiamata Greta che le ricorda proprio Crystabel in versione più sensuale, ma non riesce a dimenticare il suo amore e continua a star male e il successo non lo soddisfa e si interessa sempre di più ad argomenti mistici e anche esoterici e filosofici facendo delle ricerche approfondite e in particolare per lo Spiritismo(come il suo cognome gli suggerisce), partecipando anche a delle sedute spiritiche evocando lo Spirito di Crystabel che gli appare ma senza parlargli e affranta per lui. Nel 1848 Ariel cercando di dimenticare Helena si ributta negli studi alchemici e esoterici grazie all’assistenza del suo Maestro Mark Mephisto e riesce a trovare l’Elisir di lunga Vita e la Pietra Filosofale che trasforma i Metalli Vili in Nobili fino a giungere all’Oro : beve l’Elisir e diventa Immortale conoscendo anche il celebre Conte di Saint-Germain, Immortale come lui e facente parte della misteriosa e segreta congrega di Maghi, Alchimisti e Occultisti chiamata “Silver Star”, fondata proprio da Mephisto. 7-Soul Society Ora siamo nel 2019 e“MYSTICA” non vende quanto “EPICA” considerato troppo spirituale, personale e oscuro dalla critica e dai fans e Michael, recidendo il contratto con Johannes Faust e sperperando tutti i suoi guadagni in opere di beneficenze, cade in disgrazia e diventato povero torna a Londra e si ritrova a vagare come un barbone e decide di diventare un artista di strada vivendo alla giornata tornando al suo vecchio amore per la Musica e la Poesia: suona la chitarra, canta e chiede l’elemosina ai passanti declamando versi di Dante e William Blake. Ha rinnegato ogni successo effimero e ogni lussuria e vanità e ha trovato il suo Gesù Cristo interiore e nell’Abbazia di Westminster, in una notte di pioggia battente tra tuoni e fulmini, gli appare Ariel che da Immortale ha attraversato i secoli e vive come un Vampiro nascosto alla società e nell’ombra sempre sotto l’ala protettrice della Silver Star e di Mephisto che possiede anche la sua Anima chiusa in un alambicco alchemico, ma gli confessa di essere stanco di vivere e desiderare solo di morire e rivedere Helena nell’aldilà se questo esiste. Ariel gli confessa di averlo cercato per secoli spinto da un misterioso e strano richiamo verso una Terra Consacrata e Sacra ad altri Immortali come lui e che è Londra appunto. 8/9-Memento Mori Theme /Nulla Muore Mai (Nothing Ever Dies) I due si recano in visita all’Highgate Cemetery dove sono sepolte sia Crystabel che Helena: Ariel davanti alla tomba della sua amata ha una Visione di Lei che gli appare come un Angelo che lo fa concentrare con il suo Terzo Occhio che gli permette di far esplodere l’alambicco che conserva l’Essenza della sua Anima nel laboratorio di Mephisto e lo libera così dal Male e dal contratto con Mephisto: invecchia all’istante e muore putrefacendosi all’istante davanti agli occhi esterrefatti di Michael, ma l’Elisir di lunga vita scoperto da Ariel che ha materia puramente eterica e spirituale e viveva nel suo Spirito come sostanza vivificante entra come soffio vitale e come un virus in Michael che diventa Immortale. Michael ha anche lui una Visione con il suo Terzo Occhio risvegliato di Ariel che si è riunito a Helena dall’altra parte con i loro Spiriti Redenti dal loro Amore Eterno e sa che un giorno succederà anche a lui con Crystabel, ma intanto dovrà vivere per sempre per lungo tempo cercando la verità sul perché ora è divenuto Immortale e quale Missione gli spetta affrontando anche la nemesi di Ariel, ossia Mark Mephisto (che ora comprende essere Johannes Faust) per vendicare Ariel e spezzare la sua nuova Maledizione. Ne ode la risata da qualche parte come una eco infernale. 10-Epicentro dell’Universo Ora siamo nel 2124 e Michael ha attraversato i secoli e le epoche da Immortale e ha conosciuto tutte le conquiste e le cadute dalla grazia dell’Umanità tra nuove Guerre Atomiche e Batteriologiche, Pandemie, Nuovi Regimi e Catastrofi Ambientali. Ha incontrato fugacemente in varie Nazioni e sotto altri nomi e aspetti Mark Mephisto e gli è sempre sfuggito. Il mondo nel quale vive è post-apocalittico e c’è un Medio-Evo prossimo venturo dove molta tecnologia è scomparsa e ha ritrovato la sua Crystabel reincarnatasi appositamente per lui in un’altra donna francese, Isabel, anche se dovrà cercarla perché gli è apparsa solo in sogno e vive in un villaggio chiamato Kamelot dove ne è la Princepessa a cui è stata profetizzata la Speranza di una Nuova Era di Pace quando troverà il suo Futuro Re. Cercando lei cerca anche un nuovo Sacro Graal e che pare trasformare ogni cosa in Oro Spirituale e che può far cessare ogni conflitto secondo quello che gli danno detto alcuni iniziati appartenenti al Nuovo Ordine di San Giorgio che lotta da secoli proprio contro la Silver Star mossa più da Magia Nera e Diabolica e di cui ora non fa più parte anche il Conte di Saint Germain che ha l’ha ripudiata insieme ad altri Dissidenti che sono stati anche perseguitati da essa e che si sono aggregati a questo Nuovo Ordine mosso da più sani principi. Questo Graal secondo la Leggenda narrata dalle nuove popolazioni, si trova in un luogo leggendario chiamato EPIKA (come il vecchio romanzo di Michael e per questo è stato indicato come il predestinato) situato al confine del Mondo abitabile denominato Epicentro dell’Universo. Riesce a raggiungerlo dopo molte avventure e peripezie e insieme a lui di nascosto la raggiungono anche i mandanti di Mephisto chiamati Uomini in Nero a cui poi si aggiunge lo stesso Stregone : essa è governata da Antichi Guardiani (Custodi anche delle Antiche Scoperte Tecnologiche dell’Umanità e del suo Sapere di Millenni) che ne avevano profetizzato la venuta e rinunciando alla sua Immortalità trova il Sacro Graal in esso custodito, una misteriosa Sfera dai poteri magici (riflette i sogni, le paure e i desideri di ogni Uomo) di origini aliene custodito anch’esso dai Guardiani, ma ridivenuto ormai mortale viene aggredito da Mephisto e i suoi scagnozzi che provano ad ucciderlo, ma la Sfera lo protegge e imprigiona questi ultimi in una Gabbia di Cristallo che sorge dai Ghiacciai del luogo e così Michael vendica anche la morte di Ariel e spezza la Maledizione. Porta la Sfera a Kamelot dove conosce Isabel che lo riconosce inconsciamente sentendo di amarlo da sempre e da secoli: si sposano e diviene con lei regnante di questa piccola contea quando il padre di lei muore. Grazie ai Poteri Tecnologici della Sfera che funge da oggetto di Ricezione Cosmica simile ad una Radio e un Telegrafo oltre a contenere secoli e secoli di Conoscenza Culturale, Spirituale e Scientifica, ritornano sulla Terra da un’altra Dimensione i nostri Antichi Progenitori Alieni che sono simili agli Angeli dissidenti della Bibbia chiamati Nefilim: essi aiuteranno come nell’Alba dei Tempi l’Umanità ad evolversi e rinascere dalle ceneri. Michael è contento soprattutto di essere tornato mortale e di aver ritrovato lo Spirito di Crystabel in Isabel e insieme porteranno nel Mondo una Nuova Età dell’Oro di Pace, Saggezza e Prosperità e gli Alieni gli offrono anche la possibilità di tornare sul loro Pianeta chiamato ETHERNIA , trascorrendo i loro ultimi giorni in quell’altro “Epicentro dell’Universo”. Torniamo anche nel presente e in questo preciso istante che avete finito di ascoltare il concept delle 10 canzoni e avete immaginato come il protagonista iniziale tutta l’epica storia di Ariel e Michael e che comprendete essere parte della vostra Immaginazione/Inconscio come se fossimo tutti un’unica grande Mente Collettiva/Grande Spirito fusi in Uno qui, ora e per sempre nell’Epicentro dell’Universo dove non siamo affatto soli.
